The Job Role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years Manager at our flagship 250 place nursery in Redland, Bristol.

You will have the support of a senior team and a close network of nine other nursery managers at our other settings as you familiarise yourself with the role. You will need to hold at least a childcare qualification at Level 3 or above and have at least one years’ experience in a manager’s role.

As the Early Years Manager you will work with our Head of Early Years Practice to ensure that Snapdragons Redland continues offering exceptional care and education to our children. You will support our families with clear communication between nursery and home, continuing and further developing the excellent relationships we have already established.

You will be able to inspire your team to ensure that every child is benefiting from outstanding practice every day. We encourage career development at all levels of the team and you will be able to see potential and identify pathways for individual members of your nursery. Your skill will enable you to oversee occupancy and staffing levels to make sure that the nursery operates successfully.

As Early Years Manager at Redland you will be able to make your mark in a rewarding role at this beautiful setting, which features two large, linked Victorian houses and a separate baby pod, perfectly placed in this glorious, leafy part of Bristol. The nursery recently won a Nursery World Award for its provision for Babies and Toddlers underlining the importance we place on caring for the very youngest children. It also holds a Gold Food for Life award from the Soil Association, so an understanding of the importance of outdoor learning and healthy lifestyles is important.
