Archfield House Nursery and Pre-School:Practitioner / Key Person

Private Nursery, Cotham

We wish to employ enthusiastic, dynamic and self-motivated practitioners to join a highly dedicated team to deliver quality care and education for young children. We are a busy and friendly nursery who pride themselves on providing the best for all children and their families.

We are recruiting for Key People (Qualified) who would be responsible for a group of Key Children and Families; settling them into the nursery, carrying out the child’s care routines and carrying out the majority of their observation, assessment and planning cycle.

We are also recruiting for Room Supports (Ideally Qualified) who would work across all the rooms, supporting them and covering holidays/sickness/paperwork time. There is room for progressing to being a Key Person from this position.

We are looking for an experienced person with good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage to join our proactive, motivated and passionate team.

Qualifications and experience required.
Key People applications:

Must: have a Level 2 in a relevant childcare or education qualification.
An ability to communicate well and participate well within a team along with a good understanding of the EYFS.
Commitment to young children and families.

Nice to have: Specific qualification or training relevant to the role.

Room Support applications:

Must: An ability to communicate well with children and adults as well as participating well within a team.

Hours: Flexible
Contract: Permanent
Salary & benefits: Negotiable. Parking permits available. Up to 33 days holiday a year. Annual Profit Share Bonus (awarded after 2 years of service). Continual Professional Development opportunities.
