Bristol Childcare: Nursery Cook

We are recruiting for a cook for our children’s day nursery Mornington House in Clifton.

The role is for 30 hours a week working from 7.30 until 1.30 on Monday to Fridays and involves preparing a two- course lunch and snacks for children (aged from 6 weeks to 5 years) using fresh ingredients.

We are looking for an energetic, passionate and confident cook to join our thriving nursery. We are looking for someone who is friendly, calm, able to work under time pressure and as part of our team.

The successful applicant must have a Food Hygiene certificate. Experience of working with The Food Standards Agency’s Safer Food Better Business for Caterers would be an advantage, as would a working knowledge of the Action for Children Eat Better Start Better Voluntary Food and Drink Guidelines for Early Years Settings in England.

Knowledge of allergens is imperative.
