We are recruiting for two full time practitioners to work in our thriving pre-school. These are 40 hours per week, year round positions.
The roles are to work with the pre-school team; setting up an engaging environment inside and outside; responding to the children’s needs; working with families as a Key Person; supporting the qualified Teacher in the room and planning, observing, assessing and supporting each child’s development in accordance with the EYFS.
The successful applicants will be passionate and confident about working in childcare in such a way that engages and stimulates children and inspires staff. Good communication skills with children, parents and colleagues are required as well as the ability to work in a thriving team. Experience of being a key person and working with the EYFS would be an advantage.
The successful applicants will also actively promote and support the safeguarding of children and young people in the workplace, ensuring nursery policies and procedures are observed at all times.
Applicants must have a good level of education and at least a Level 3 childcare qualification which is “full and relevant”. Experience of working in an early years setting will be an advantage.
