Advanced Baby Practitioner


We have an immediate vacancy for an Advanced Baby Practitioner to join our growing and dynamic Nursery group and seek an inspiring and talented person join our friendly team at Horfield. Snapdragons Horfield offers care for 120 children between the ages of 0 – 5 years.

We pride ourselves on being a family-run business offering an exceptionally high standard of care as well as having strong relationships with the families we serve. An excellent local reputation has led to our growing expansion into Wiltshire, Bath and Bristol.

The post is full time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday, all year round and you will be entitled to 6.6 weeks holiday, including Bank Holidays (although we may consider part time applicants who could work 2 / 3 / 4 full days per week all year round).

We offer an attractive full-time salary of £19,500+ per annum depending on qualifications and experience.

You will have a minimum of Level 3 qualification specific to Early Years as defined by the Department for Education: www.education.gov.uk/eypqd/search/search.cfm and specific knowledge and experience of working with under two’s.

The ideal candidate for this role will be familiar and highly competent with the use of advanced activities and strategies in the care of under twos. You will understand signs of attachment, how to provide an enabling environment and how to establish strong routines. Experience of working with this age group is essential. Equally important is your enjoyment in caring for our youngest children and your strong desire to have a positive impact on them.

We are currently in the process of recruiting an Early Years Practitioner to join our growing and exciting Nursery group, working at our newest nursery setting at Redland in Bristol. Snapdragons Redland opened in two phases with the two main buildings opening in May of this year after a full renovation.

The post is full time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday, all year round and you will be entitled to 6.6 weeks holiday, including Bank Holidays. (Part time applications will also be considered if able to work all year round and full days (2/3/4 days per week). We offer an attractive full-time salary of £17,368+ per annum for L2 and £18,304+ per annum for L3.
