Unit Manager (Babies)


We are currently seeking a full-time Unit Manager (Babies) to join a lively and friendly team at our beautiful nursery in Redland.

The nursery at Redland is growing and will expand to meet the needs of the community. It is registered for children between the ages of 0 – 5 years and opens from 7.30am to 6.30pm daily, 51 weeks of the year.

As Manager of a unit you will be an outstanding and inspiring practitioner, providing professional leadership and ensuring the setting delivers the highest standards of care and education. You will have the confidence to lead your team, displaying a high level of motivation, a flexible enthusiastic approach and good communication skills.


You will have the ability to manage a unit which will continue to develop and change. You must be able to provide exceptional early years care in a safe, nurturing and fulfilling environment whilst inspiring children to unlock their full potential through key skills and values which will establish them as gifted citizens of the world.

You must have experience of a senior role within an early years’ setting, and at least two years’ experience in childcare, with a minimum of Level 3 qualification specific to Early Years as defined by the Department for Education. The ideal candidate will have overseen multiple rooms.

The post is full time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday, all year round and you will be entitled to 6.6 weeks holiday, including Bank Holidays.

We offer an attractive full-time rate of pay of £22,500 per annum with a starting date as soon as possible and flexible interview dates available.
