This is a certificated Basic Food Hygiene course.

Course content:

  • Personal hygiene
  • Prevention of contamination
  • Food poisoning awareness
  • Time / temperature control of food
  • Current food legislation.

Participants will be encouraged to discuss issues relating to food handling in their setting.

Date:ONLINE - Tuesday 15th March 9.30am - 1.30pm.
Cost:Free for Bristol-based Ofsted registered childcare workers and Bristol BAND members. £55 all others, 10% discount to non-Bristol BAND member groups.

Tutors:Ken Rock of Domino Risk Management. Ken has many years experience both as a Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner and consultant advising on food supply operations and inspecting kitchens in every kind of setting - from a tent to and air craft carrier.
