Lloyds work in partnership with charities and communities that understand the needs and aspirations of people and can make a lasting difference to their lives. They provide flexible, unrestricted funding and additional support to develop to help charities grow stronger and thrive beyond the lifetime of their grant.

Their focus is where our combination of funding and additional support can make the greatest impact on those we partner with. Their programmes aim to give charities the stability and freedom to use the funding as they best see fit.

They have three unrestricted funding programmes and one which is focussed on collaborations seeking to influence locally and regionally. The three unrestricted funding programmes are 1) for small specialist charities supporting people facing complex issues; 2) for small charities working with and led by people experiencing inequity because of their race or ethnicity; and 3) for d/Deaf and Disabled people’s organisations.

Hereford based charity committed to supporting Education, Healthcare, Heritage and Arts.  Applications from non profits within 100 miles of Hereford.

They donate between £500,000 and £1.5 million per annum; broadly, Education (35%), Medical including hospitals and hospices (35%), Heritage (15%) and Arts (15%).

The Foundation prefers to focus on smaller charities or projects where if the CRF was not involved it probably would not happen. They do not generally fund operating costs

The Foundation is keen to support young people who are facing difficult transitions, challenges and barriers to accessing support and opportunities. Particularly young people aged 12-21 who are socially excluded or marginalised; whose experiences can be hidden or less well known; and whose voices are often erased or ignored.

This new programme is aimed at young people who are experiencing or may have already suffered significant issues within their lives. The average grant size is around £5,000-£6,000.

This may, for example, include organisations that focus their work on: young people within the criminal justice system or those at risk of offending; looked after children or care leavers; those with significant mental health concerns or complex needs; young people who have been traumatised by challenging family backgrounds, neglect, violence or abuse; those that have fallen through the gaps in care and/or education; those already affected by, or vulnerable to, exploitation; or whose experiences could seriously impact their transition into adulthood.

Organisations working across a local area such as a village, estate or town, will need to have an income of less than around £100,000. At the other end of the spectrum, if you work across the whole of the UK you will need to have an income of less than around £250,000

This organisation offer small grants of up to £800 to schools and organisations who aim to stimulate interest and involvement in mathematics. Projects working with Key Stages 1-5 up to undergraduate level and beyond are all eligible to apply.

The society is keen to support projects which enhance and enrich mathematical study beyond the national curriculum, engage the public with mathematics and encourage unusual ways of communicating mathematics.

Grants awarded by the London Mathematical Society should have a significant and identifiable impact. This means that projects with very large budgets are unlikely to be successfully funded through this scheme. Grants should also ideally facilitate connections across the mathematical community and/or address a new or wider audience.

To apply, download an application form from the website and return by email or post to the addresses provided. Deadlines occur throughout the year and decisions aim to be made within one month of each application deadline.

Scheme will re-open on 1st August 2024
