Are you passionate about inspiring young minds and leading a dedicated team? At ECCC, we’re searching for a passionate Senior Room Leader to shape the learning journey across our two baby rooms working with children from 6 months – 2+ years.

  • Lead and inspire a team, fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment.
  • Design and deliver engaging, child-centred learning experiences—indoors and outdoors.
  • Champion anti-racist and trauma-informed practices in all aspects of your work.
  • Manage an allocated budget to support your cohort’s needs.
  • Support staff development through coaching, supervisions, and sharing best practice.
  • Collaborate with families and the wider community to ensure every child feels a sense of belonging.
  • Contribute to ECCC’s policies and continuous improvement as a key member of our leadership team.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and inclusive practice at all times.

  • Passionate about early years education and inspiring young minds
  • Keen to work in a community-focused, impactful setting with lots of outdoor time
  • Committed to embedding anti-racist and trauma-informed practice in the ‘every day’
  • Interested in contributing to the centre’s plans and aspirations for the future

Qualifications & Experience:

Must haves:

  • Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or above)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a UK Early Years setting
  • At least 1 year’s experience leading an area of practice
  • At least 1 year’s experience managing/leading a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and anti-discriminatory practice
  • Passion for early education and a desire to keep learning and growing.

Hours & Contract:

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours/week (finish 1.30pm Fridays)
  • Permanent contract

Salary & Benefits:
