Job Role:

The Tin Drum Nursery in Redland are looking for both qualified and unqualified staff to join our family.

We are a small well-established family-run setting, operating on the same premises for over 32 years. We are committed to providing a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment in which every child can be themselves and feel encouraged and supported to be a confident, curious and resilient learner. The nursery has four areas, our Baby Room (6 months – 17months), Infant Room (17months – 2 years), Junior Room (2 -3 years) and the School Room (3 -5 years). The nursery follows an ‘In the Moment’ approach to learning.

You will need to be above all else fun, enthusiastic and caring with a genuine interest in the care and development of young children. Good communication skills (written, verbal and listening) are essential. You will be ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times and keep up to date with and implement our nursery policies, especially Child Protection and Health & Safety. If you are unqualified or L2 qualified, we will help to sign you up with a training provider and support you throughout your training.



We will require unqualified and Level 2 qualified members of staff to complete their Level 2/Level 3 early years qualification(s)

Experience is not essential for unqualified staff.


Contract, Hours, Pay & Benefits:

  • Full time, Mon-Fri working 42.5 hours a week.
  • Permanent.
  • Salary will be depending on age, experience and qualification, however we always pay above minimum wage.
