Honeytree Day Nursery Early Years Practitioner

The Job Role:

  • Work as a team to ensure the daily running of the nursery;
  • Ensure that all children attending the nursery are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development;
  • Observe support and extend children’s learning;
  • Appropriately plans individual learning experiences for children under the EYFS curriculum;
  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with parents.

Candidate qualities:

  • Passion and enthusiasm for working with children
  • The ability to work with others to achieve a common goal
  • Flexibility to cope with the changing needs of the nursery

Qualifications and experience required:

  • An Early Years Qualification (Level 3 or above) – must have
  • Previous experience working with children under 5 – must have
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of children’s development and their needs – must have

Hours, Contract, benefits & Salary:

  • Full time, either 38 or 40 hours a week
  • Permanent Contract
  • £8.36/hr to £9.00/hr

Your starting salary will be based on age and experience
