BAND Newsletter
The newsletter for Bristol’s Play & Childcare workers.
BAND News, our newsletter, is published six times a year, in time for each school holiday and is emailed free of charge to all our member clubs and other childcare providers in and around Bristol.
We also email it to local schools, libraries, Youth and Community Centres and City Councillors. The current circulation is 1000 copies. We also produce some hard copies which are available on request.
The newsletter contains sections on local and national childcare news, member clubs news, training opportunities, play news and ideas, management and funding, playwork job vacancies, local and national events and conferences in the fields of childcare and play.
If you’ve got an article you think would be good for our newsletter, or would like to write one, please get in touch– we’d love to hear from you.

The following charges apply for jobs & other advertisements in our newsletter and on our website:
• Full BAND Members:£15
• Other BAND members £35
• Non BAND members £55.
We also accept advertising from statutory and commercial organisations.
Payment is required by cheque payable to ‘BAND Ltd’ or via BACS: BAND Ltd, Sort code 30-94-80, Account no. 00971149, in advance of the adverts appearing.
