Ability Net

AbilityNet empowers disabled and older people to use technology at home, at work and in education. They also work with businesses and public sector organisations, to help them build more accessible and inclusive workplaces, websites and apps.They provide free support to disabled people, their family and friends, their employers and other people who care for them.Their network of 450 volunteers visit disabled people in their home to help with their everyday technology needs.Call their helpline on 0300 180 0028 to get help with using technology or adapting it to meet your needs.

Charity Digital

They support small voluntary-led societies as well as major charities, from overseas development to local Scout and Guide groups, all the way to museums and historic buildings. CITA – IT Help for Charities

CITA offer three services to charities –CITA REVIEWA one-off diagnostic session offering independent advice on effective IT.

CITA ADVISORY

IT project management support and advice. Your CITA volunteer will help you to define, plan and manage an identified IT project from scoping to completion.

CITA DELIVERY

Technical resourcing to deliver a successful IT project. Once you have defined and planned your project, your CITA volunteer will provide the technical skills needed to implement the deliverables.

Digital Candle

Fat Beehive

The Fat Beehive Foundation awards small grants of up to £2,500 to help charities improve their digital presence.They support UK-based charities with an annual turnover of under £1 million, offering funding for a wide range of digital projects. Whether that’s building a new website, developing online resources, or improving digital accessibility, our aim is to help you reach more people, raise more funds and deliver more impact.They award funding twice a year, and you can find all the key dates and information on their Apply page.

They only support a limited number of projects based on the funding available for distribution in any given year. The Trustees are particularly keen to support traditionally hard-to-fund organisations, such as those supporting prisoners, refugees, or disadvantaged youth.
