‘Sydenham Road Under 5’s: Nurturing Inquisitive Minds’

We are a caring, fun and community-focused preschool in Totterdown. We follow a child-led, play-based curriculum and have a particular love for the outdoors with daily off-site adventures.

Ofsted has rated our setting ‘Good Overall’, Outstanding in Behaviour, Attitudes and Personal development. We are also Bristol Standard accredited.

We are looking for two Preschool Assistants to join our friendly team

• These positions are to work supporting children with additional needs within the setting.
• Days: 2 or 3 days a week, flexible Monday–Thursday although both positions must include a Monday (Term-Time Only) Starting September 2025
• Hours: 8.30–3.30 – For the right candidate we are willing to negotiate a flexible start and finish to accommodate their own school drop offs
• Fixed term contract for one year
• Potential for paid training opportunities. Early Years qualifications and experience preferred but not essential.
• The candidate should be enthusiastic about helping young children learn through play, community minded and enjoy and understand the benefits of learning outdoors.
