The Red House Children’s Centre, Nursery, mixed ages 2-5 years

Job Role:

The successful candidate will work in a highly motivated team in an open plan environment within an organic rhythm of the day. The Red House’s curriculum has a strong focus around Storytelling, Gardening and Nature, Visual Arts, Movement and Music and aims at the highest quality of the children’s experiences. The environment is filled with diverse and enticing resources, for example a dedicated Music Area, an Art Studio, sewing machines and woodwork bench, while retaining a focus on naturally occurring resources and opportunities both inside and outside the building.

Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a strong motivation to ensure the children access a wide range of experiences within the learning community. They will be motivated to constantly reflect on their practice – constantly re-imagine their pedagogy by working collaboratively with children and colleagues.

Qualifications and experience required:

Preferably holding a relevant level 3 qualification and/or have recent experience working in an Early Years setting.

Hours, Contract & Pay:

• Full time 37 hours a week (over 4 days)
• Permanent
• Starting salary ca. £ 25,000 per annum. Possibility of progression through additional accountabilities remuneration
