Build a windmill. Using thick paper or flexible card cut a square shape 20cm by 20cm is a good size, but you can have any size you want. Fold the paper/card diagonally and flatten and then again across the other diagonal. Cut along all the diagonal folds stopping about 3cm from the centre. Fold in alternate corners to the centre holding in place with your thumb. When all four are folded in fix in place with a sticker, so you can see all four blade of the windmill. Take a drawing pin or map pin and push through the middle of the sticker and then push into a piece of doweling, make sure it is firmly in, but still allows the windmill to turn. Experiment with different sizes and colours. If you are looking for a more challenging and technological activity, how about building a mini wind turbine? There are lots of ideas of how to do this on YouTube.
