We are excited to be able to confirm we have a range of training opportunities coming up over the next few months.
We have been busy planning what we want to offer and, due to the cut in funding we experienced last year, we have been fundraising so we can maintain access to our courses at as low a cost as possible.
The training we are planning to provide will cover a range of needs and topics, kicking off with First Aid in April, May and June, these are being fully funded by Worcester Bosch, The Grace Trust and Bristol Water Better Future Fund.
Our full range of safeguarding and child protection courses – Introduction, Refresher, DSL and Safer Recruitment will then follow. We are also committed to running a range of inclusion training throughout the year that will cover various inclusion topics, including Neurodiversity, Emotional Regulation and Play.
More briefing sessions are being developed for settings to access, and we are planning to offer ‘bitesize’ training packages for settings to access and deliver in-house to their staff.
We know how important it is for the sector to have access to trusted, quality, affordable and accessible training and we are dedicated to providing this for all settings in Bristol.
To find out about the courses we are offering, the content and how to book go to the training page on our website.
As more courses are funded, we will add them to our schedule and will advise you by email that they are available for booking and add them to our website, so do keep an eye out for these.
We are looking forward to welcoming you back to our sessions!
