From a simple bucket castle to an elaborate sand sculpture you can make what you want. For best results use fine damp sand and keep wetting it and compacting it. You will need buckets and spades (you can have a classic kids seaside set or you could use something larger. For more elaborate castles or sculptures you might want to use shaping tools: plastic knives, paint scrapers and pastry knives. For that perfect finish soft paint brushes work well. If it doesn’t work then you have the fun of knocking it down and starting again. For inspiration look at sandcastle Pinterest boards.
