About This Course:

Do you need to develop or refresh your awareness and understanding of child protection to help keep the children in your setting safe. Our course will refresh your knowledge and skills to recognise and respond to possible abuse and identify your responsibilities for keeping children safe.

This course is open to childcare and playworkers who have already completed initial child protection training either with BAND or elsewhere.

Course Content:

• Updates to any changes in Child Protection regulations.
• Updates to current local arrangements set out by Keeping Bristol Safe Partnership (KBSP).
• Enabling participants to implement their own safeguarding policies and procedures.
