About This Course:
This course is for designated Fire Wardens / those responsible for coordinating staff evacuation during an emergency and first aid fire fighting.
Course content:
- Human behaviour responses in fire/emergency situations
- Basic principles of fire safety and protection
- Theory and operation of fire extinguishing equipment
- Classes of fire and mechanics of fire spread
- Means of escape and evacuation procedures
- Fire legislation and fire risk assessments.
Successful completion of the course is acknowledged by a certificate of competence.
