Cash4Clubs- Small Grants to Local Sports Clubs

Cash 4 Clubs is a sports funding scheme giving clubs the chance to apply for grants to improve facilities, purchase new equipment, gain coaching qualifications, and invest in the sustainability of their club.

This year, the scheme is offering grants of either £500 or £1,000 to grassroots sports club in the UK that are registered with their National Governing Body or local authority. The funding is given to clubs on a discretionary basis, with a wide range of applications considered.

Funding can be used for anything that will add to the sustainability and effectiveness of the sports club, including buying new equipment, improving facilities or helping members to gain coaching qualifications. Examples of funding include buying an underwater camera for monitoring swimming technique, the re-surfacing of a tennis court, new kit for a rugby or netball team or extra training for coaches.

No preference is given to the type of sport involved or the ages of people who will benefit from the project, but priority will be given to clubs that play an active role in their local community.
The deadline for applications is 27 September 2019.
