If a child is in good mental health, they can make the most of their potential, cope with the ups and downs of life and play a full part in their family, school, community and among friends. This course looks at how to support children in your setting to have good mental health and build resilience.

Participants will:

  • Consider how to define good mental health
  • Discuss the crucial elements of good mental health
  • Explore ways to support children’s mental health and develop their resilience.

Cost:Free for Bristol-based Ofsted registered childcare workers and Bristol BAND members, 10% discount to non-Bristol BAND member groups. £65 all others.

Tutors:Nicky Hutchinson and Chris Calland. Both have many years experience of working in Bristol schools and nurseries supporting children with behaviour issues and their families.
