Assertiveness is the ability to express yourself and your rights without violating the rights of others. It is appropriately direct, open and honest communication which is self-enhancing and expressive.

Course content:

  • Developing positive communication skills
  • Identifying different models of behaviour
  • Practicing assertive behaviour
  • Recognising rights, responsibilities and respect.

This is a participant led course and you will have the chance to explore your own issues in a supportive, empowering environment.
