THE SCREWFIX FOUNDATION

THE SCREWFIX FOUNDATION – Grants up to £5,000 for local and national UK charities and not-for-profit organisations, including Community Interest Companies (CICs), to fix, repair, maintain and improve properties and community facilities for people in need in the UK.

o Application deadline: THURSDAY 10 FEBRUARY 2022 (further deadlines for 2022 are listed below).
o Funder: The Screwfix Foundation (founded 2013.Charity number 1151375. Total value of all grants awarded during the year ended 31 January 2020: £1,077,173).
o Who can apply: UK registered charities and not-for-profit organisations for projects in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Applicants can include Community Interest Companies, Community Benefit Societies, Cooperative Societies and other forms of not-for-profit organisation.

Yeovil, Somerset-based the Screwfix Foundation provides grants up to £5,000 with no matched funding requirement to UK registered charities and not-for-profit organisations to fix, repair, maintain and improve properties and community facilities for those in need across the UK.

This can include repairing run-down buildings and decorating the homes of people living with illness and disability.

Local and national not-for-profit organisations may apply. Projects, which should be environmentally friendly, should:

o Help people in need faced by financial hardship, sickness, distress or other disadvantages in the UK, and
o Support projects that relate to the repair, maintenance, improvement or construction of homes, community buildings and other buildings.

The next application deadline is Thursday 10th February 2022Further application deadlines for 2022 are:

o Tuesday 10 May.
o Wednesday 10 August, 
and
o Thursday 10 November.
