This course will raise participants awareness of how body image can affect children.

Course content:

  • Explore how children of all ages are affected by the media and their modern world
  • Explore how body image is linked to children’s mental health and emotional well-being
  • Explore what kind of comments and activities are helpful and unhelpful
  • Develop strategies to promote children’s positive body image.

Cost: Free for Bristol-based Ofsted registered childcare workers and Bristol BAND members. £45 all others, 10% discount to non-Bristol BAND member groups.
