This course will raise participants awareness of how body image can affect children.

Course content:

  • Explore how children of all ages are affected by the media and their modern world
  • Explore how body image is linked to children’s mental health and emotional well-being
  • Explore what kind of comments and activities are helpful and unhelpful
  • Develop strategies to promote children’s positive body image.

Cost:Free for Bristol-based Ofsted registered childcare workers and Bristol BAND members, however a £50 deposit per person booking is required to secure a place. £10% discount to non-Bristol BAND member groups. £42 to all others.
